hi im wondering is it possible to connect my pc to my tv and a pair of speakers at the same time, eg so if im watchin a film on the tv sound comes from the tv speakers and when i want to listen to music i use the pc speakers

Go to a well known electical store and ask for a 3.5mm Stereo Two-into-One Adaptor (Gold-Plated if poss)

The Adaptor which allows two 3.5mm stereo jack plugs to be used with a single 3.5mm stereo jack socket - ideal as a headphone splitter.
