Thinking about soundproofing ONE side of my case (Lian-Li windowed). Been looking at some AcoustiPack, for what it is however it seems a bit over priced. how good is this stuff and is it really worth doing the one panel? That is will I see any benefit at all? possibly I could also do the roof.

On another note I really didn't expect my Corsair HX850 to be this loud, reviews all said it was Pretty quiet and while I wouldn't call it loud I can here it from 5 or 6 meters away, is this normal for a HX850?

Edit: Oops this was supposed to go into general hardware, could a mod please move. ty.

I don't think just doing one side panel will make a whole lot of difference unless it is rattling.

I've used the stuff on my old case, but I covered the top, bottom, side panels and all around the edges of where the psu is mounted - this made a pretty good difference and the PC is near silent now - but it wasn't that loud to begin with - I was going to use it for a home studio setup though so silence is more important.

Hi!!
I used the acoustipack stuff on my corsair 700d case. IMO the best stuff out there, You can get it a bit cheaper than the kits if you buy OEM (for system builder) use the thicker stuff on the side panels ;-)
