Previously I've had some Kanto YU2 speakers which were easy to connect, they had a USB connection and built in DAC. Problem is you had that white noise coming from them when not in use because volume had to cranked up. I liked how they sounded and the size was excellent.

So here are my requirements:
- Budget is 300-400.
- Compact
- When I'm not playing music, I don't want the static/white noise.
- My office is small so I only really listen at low to medium volume levels.
- Speakers need to look good, not a fan of black speakers, more of a matte/grey/white look.
- Music is via Spotify.
- I like a really crisp / clean sound or separation.

How about these speakers? https://www.richersounds.com/hi-fi/standmount-speakers/monitor-audio-bronze-50-white.html

I know they aren't available yet but they do look decent. I guess I would need an amp for these types of speakers, they will be used with my PC only, any recommendations?

Edit:
This looks like it may be a good little amp:

I put an order in earlier today for the amp I linked and some Q Acoustic 3020i speakers. I read on the amp reviews some people had used it fine with the speakers.

Went with the 3010i in the end as the 3cm size difference will make a difference to an already big speaker on the desk. Should be here Tuesday.

I really like them. They need a bit of volume before they start to sound really good but I imagine that's normal for passives.

The only thing I've noticed with the Sabaj is a little crackle between tracks for that brief moment before the next track starts. Not sure if this is just Spotify though.
