Hi,

Just got an xbox 360 and I want to get my PC speakers:

Creative Gigaworks T20 Series II 2.0 Speaker System

whats the best way to do this? (my monitor doesn't have speakers).........ideally would like them to also continue working on my pc too.

Connect a 3.5mm cable into the headphone jack on the speakers and plug the other end into the headphone port on the monitor.

I've had monitors that didn't have speakers and they have all had headphone jacks.

I think Eames means the Aux-in. Or if you don't want anything ugly sticking out the front, you might be able to run your 360's audio through your PC's sound card, if it has a line-in. Then you should be able to run both PC and 360 audio at the same time and control the volume of them separately through software.

Depends on which AV cable you are using.

If VGA, make sure the cable has Phono Audio connectors. Connect those to a 3.5mm adapter, connect that to your speakers.

If HDMI, you need the "HDMI Audio Adapter" for the console which has phono/optical ends on it and then do the same as above.
