Biulding a new workstation for use with Autodesk Inventor. After a very quick look I have came up with the following

What do you think? Have I missed anything or included anything you can think of? I will be using a Nvidia FX3800 graphics card with it.

+1 for the triple channel memory, this would be my suggestion at the minute. Go for 2 kits if you think you will need more than 6GB.

You may also want to switch the Velociraptor to an SSD (and a cheap mechanical storage drive). Overall this would be much faster, but a bit more expensive.

I would not suggest going for the i7 960 if you only plan to use air cooling. I would suggest the i7 930 instead. It overclocks to 4GHz on air cooling, and apart from the slightly lower multiplier and price, it is identical to the i7 960.

I would strongly suggest going for this PSU, its brilliant quality and extremely efficient.
