PC spec check please

Hi i plan on buying a new PC in the next day or two, could someone please check to make sure iv not missed anything or if there are going to be any problems.

This is the spec iv come up with

The system will run on a 24 inch Dell and a 20 inch Samsung and i already have a G15 and MX518 keyboard and mouse.

Main uses are going to be gaming and video editing.

The Spec look OK ?

looks fine.

maybe swap the raptor for the samsung f1 640 or 1tb, psu wise the Thermaltake ToughPower 850W would be worth a look.

A mate said he might be able to get me a copy of Vista Business otherwise ill just buy the Home Premium or Ultimate

Iv had Enermax PSUs before and never had any problems with them that's the main reason i went with them but the Thermaltake is quite a bit cheaper so i might swap them

I got ultimate the other day and havent had any issues as of yet with it

I read a lot of good things about the X48 Asus Rampage and i also think i read x48 is the best for crossfire as it supports two 16x PCI-E bus.

x38 does too, all x48 adds is a higher FSB if i remember right

On top of your VelociRaptor I would maybe add a 0.5/0.75/1 TB Samsung or Seagate Hard Drive as 300gb isnt that much.

I already have 2 Samsung F1 1TB drives that im gonna add from my old PC

Asus Maximus Formula

would that be a good motherboard to swap with?

Great choice in board , i have thr Rampage Formula allong with a Q6600 and Sapphire HD4870 , great for gaming and a doddle to overclock
