Hi everyone,
I'm looking to spec a new rig up for around £1500. It's not for me, with recent "events" i'll be sticking with my 1090T for a while lol.
It's for a friend of mine. We waited a few weeks to see what the bulldozers would deliver, i'm just glad we never waited months and months like some poor people did. So, with that kind of balance, what do you recommend?
Primarily for gaming, with the usual day to day use on top. He plays a massive selection of games. 1500 should cover the PC alone, not including a monitor etc. Case wise we like the look of the corsair cases, and im impressed with my silverstone FT02B, especially the cooling, so that could be considered too.
I'm guessing 2500k/2600k is the way foward for new builds at the moment, but i'm a little outdated on the differences between P67 and Z68 etc?
Some may say wait for the new intel cpu's, but he wants this before the release of the new upcoming games next month, so it's a build now and not wait job.
Thanks in advance for any input
