One thing i am unsure about is whether the ATI 1900 GPU is actually a XT card? I am thinking to upgrade to a crossfire setup in a few months and thought to buy the master card now. Or you think buy the xt card now and then the master if i actually need to get the crossfire setup?

Thanks,

Hus

I think you're right to get the master card now, never know if you'll be able to find one for a reasonable price or at all later.
The rest of the setup looks very good, although I don't know if it's really worth paying so much more for the plextor drive. Still, it's a small part of the overall budget.

Thanks for the input - agree but thought to future proof (if thats actually possible) as much as i could do. Your right its a small percentage of the overall outlay so will stick with it for now.

One thing i am always hearing about is additional cooling, do you think its necessary considering the case also has a couple of fans?

My setup runs fine with the two case fans (it's a coolermaster centurion 5) although I don't overclock. It'll be fine I think unless you want to overclock heavily.

Cool thats good to know. Dont plan to overclock just yet tbh so hopefully it will do the trick.
