Hi guys, looking to buy a PC for a main use in gaming, I have probably gone wrong somewhere but chose this system for £573~

Would you change anything keeping under the £600 budget for everything you see or save any money elsewhere? I will also attempt to OC it too hence the cooler.

I have a 19" monitor at the moment, but will be upgrading that sooner or later just for reference.

Any help appreciated :)
Thanks!

Yeah, that seems a very good spec you've chosen for the budget.

Some people might reccommend changing the PSU to something like a corsair.

Hi, just a couple of changes i would make.

Swap the cooler to the equally as good Akasa Ak-965 at £12.64. £20.69 is an obscene price for a Freezer 7 Pro!!

Ditch the terrible OCZ psu for the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 470W at £43.69. Much better psu and very quiet too. The OCZ psu's suffer from a lot of ripple which is not good.

Apart from that it's a good balanced rig.

Thanks guys, I will swap the PSU and overpriced cooler!

Is the mobo really worth changing for £20 more, what would the benefit be? Thanks for the link though will check it out! :)

I would agree with the others on psu, cooler & mobo

& yes it is defo worth the extra £20 it clocks better & has better NB/SB & mosfet cooling & has better bios

I would also say get the Sapphire 4850 as they no longer come with stock cooling as shown but the same cooler as the 4830 which is quiter & cooler.

Finaly I would suggest the following HDD

Hmm, will probably be going just over £600 with the mobo and hdd change then but if it is quicker then fair enough! :D

Thanks for tweaking everything guys, hopefully going to order tomorrow
