buy thisd then u can use DDR2 RAM:D sound card erm u have a budget?

i was gonna get that one but then i have been talking to people and the 3 cores is more than enough for me plus the motherboard takes both am2+ and am3 whilst using a ddr2 ram so its what im looking for, and no i dont have a budget really but i dont wanna go over board for a sound card that im not really gonna use properly i just need a good one for gaming such as dawn of war 2 and any other upcoming games on high spec

For Mobo i would go with this not much more than the one you are looking at but it will allow to to go crossfire with your 4850 in future if you wish

For your HSF i would go with this it will be silent if you just leave your cpu at stock and will cope with the temps if you decide to try overclocking that cpu

For Sound i would go with this as its not overly priced but still gives great sound for games and media alike

I hope these help with your decision

This mobo will support your proposed cpu and also supports all the other AM3 phenom ii porcessors as well as your DDR2 memory you intend to use.
more extensive details can be found here on this mobo.
