1 500GB drive? Get a seperate boot and storage drive, silly not to with that spec.

Also i'd change the PSU to the HX 620.

Maybe change the PSU to the Corsair 620 Modular.
I would change the thermal paste to MX-2, as you dont get any of the downsides of AS5 but is as good.
Other than that, its good to go. Also if planning to do big overclock perhans looks at PC2-1066 RAM.

That will be an awesome rig, how ever not sure if the psu will be big enough.

Lookng on he net the 4870x2 alone uses 275W off load & 420W on load and the Q9550 will use near on 100w.

So 520W plus if you overclock and the rest of your components will leave the psu being at near 90% load which can't be good.

I personally would aim at 750W +.

2x older generation 250GB hard-drives? Eek. :p

Get a single 320GB Seagate 7200.11 for the boot drive, and a single 1TB 7200.11 for the storage drive. Willl be much better and last you a long while. :)

argh monkey nuts you've got my postcode on there... nevermind

See you tommorrow at your place! *does crazy eyes*
