Hey, just thought about buying a cheaper PC, so that i can get a monitor..later on.

I'd like around a 6800 GS and at least AMD 64 3200 (at very least).

Budget is around £510.

This includes: Motherboard, CPU, GFX Card, PSU, RAM, HD (if its less at finish)

Sorry for the re-post :(

Regards,

Adam

hehe, i liked the specs..just i wanna try spend less..to save for the slight modifications later, like a new graphics card in the next 2 years or so...and also a new monitor soonish. Thanks if you can mate. Hopefully around AMD 64 3500 ;) Cheers.

Well, considering theres not much price difference between the 3500 and the 3700 (retail) is it worth the 3700?

Ah k..no speed related things then? So basically...you have to use the £20 difference to buy the fans etc?

Gaming, Personal Use (no..not that :p) I can Spend £510ish Max. I want it to last quite a while and have a good Graphics Card..to play CoD 2 smoothly. Also..if possible have it between £400-500 so that way i can consider a monitor ;). or a HD

Well, i like the spec, just i dunno whether that CPU is going to last or not :) maybe a 3500? Also do i need any cooling devices? I will be buying a case later on probably..i have a customized one atm.

Hehe, ill do it later, im on a budget as i dont work. Well atm i have : AMD Athlon 2800, 512mb Ram, 9800 Pro..450w q-tec psu..so im wanting to spend £400-500 (500 max) on a new PC kit.. Will i feel a lot of difference in a 2800 and the 64 3000 or the 2800 and the 3200?

Well, you can help me decide on whether i want a higher CPU, or what ever etc... Also what gfx card to get, to have it for a while and answer some questions about diff things

that looks like a snazzy set up, i could also lose the HD till later ;) Also i might get an Abit Mobo..i feel they're more stable :D

What you guys think of this?

Gigabyte K8N SLi nForce4 SLi (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard
GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS2.5

XFX GeForce 6800 GS Extreme XXX Edition 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express)
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 90nm (Socket 939) - Retail
