PC speeds have slowed. Other devices OK. Any pointers?

Hey!

Last few days, actually, thinking since I changed the network bitrates (might be coincidental) my speed tests from my PC have tanked.

Today's speeds are ~70Mbps / 80Mbps (DL/UL). This is on WiFi6, 5Ghz (40Mhz), Ch 104. Netsh reveals:

Receive rate (Mbps) : 459
Transmit rate (Mbps) : 459
Signal : 85%

From my mid-range Samsung phone, still WiFi6 on the same network from the same location / at the desk of the PC:

~396Mbps / 76Mbps (DL/UL).

Both using VPN but have tried the PC without and see no improvement. The bitrate change I made I don't believe would have made a difference as otherwise surely all devices would have the issue. Seems isolated to my PC. I basically set the minimum for 2.4Ghz to 12Mbps and 5Ghz to 18Mbps.

I've tried restarting the Router just in case - I haven't restarted the APs yet.

The WiFi antenna for the PC is in the same place it has been for the last few months, on the back corner of the desk, but would 85% signal cause such a dramatic difference vs the phone?

Any ideas on what I can try much appreciated!

Cheers.

Well I do feel silly. Moved the antenna from the corner of the desk to the top of my mounted speaker and that seems to have done the trick. Nesh now:

Receive rate (Mbps) : 574
Transmit rate (Mbps) : 574
Signal : 92%

Resulting in ~234Mbps / 76Mbps (DL/UL).

Sorry for the time wasting! :o
