PC stability after RMA

Recently I RMA'd my RAM and PSU to Overclockers (great service btw!). I had a replacement PSU and bought some new RAM. However, since getting the new RAM my system will randomly shut down as if it has lost power, more often than not when I load up a game, or the DRAM LED on the motherboard will light up. Upon rebooting I will be greeted with a message that overclocking has failed or that Mem is OK and need to enter the BIOS and exit without making changes.

My PC specs are:

Asus P8Z67 V-LX motherboard
XFX XXX 850W power supply
8GB G.SKill Ripjaws (F3 -12800CL9D-8GBXL RAM.

I've never had any problems with these specs before having to replace my RAM and PSU.

I've also tried using Prime95 and memtest+ but neither gets through a cycle as the PC will freeze up. When running prime95 my temps never go above 60C at 100% load. Bios is fully updated and is compatible with my RAM.

Would having hnaged my PSU and brand of RAM around have any bearing on system stability, and should I do a clean install?

In short I have tried everything I can think of. My own thought is that the motherboard may have developed a fault.

I've also swapped the RAM with a brand new 8GB kit and tried with one stick. Problem still persists.

One thing you could check is the CPU socket for any bent pins.

Also what cooler are you using sometime if you over tighten the screws this can course issues, has happened in the past.

It's an Asus Axe Square (ugly thing), soon to be replaced with a Corsair Hydro H55/60. I've not adjusted either the fan or CPU since February when I put the build together.
