Right section?

I'm after a fairly cheap steering wheel to use on the PC, around £30. Was after some person experience, what to avoid etc.
And are they all 15pin game port!?

not much you can really get for 30.. unless its used.. best wheels are from logitec/fanatec

trustmaster has gone a bit downhill in my eyes..

You can get a "Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Racing Wheel Wheel and pedals set - 11 button - Game console, PC" for £35 new. It's okay, get what you pay for though.

I've used a lot of wheels in my time, and the difference between ~£30 and £~70 is huge, as is the next jump to ~£150 plus. My advice would be to go for a cheap one first. See if you find yourself using it a lot and thus perhaps wanting something better for sim games. As for recommendations - the second hand DFP suggestion is best I think. It's a solid wheel and will do you very well, plus the FF is very good.

I've currently got the Logitech Driving Force GT and it's a good step better than the DFP. If you can get one of those second hand you're laughing, though you'll be blowing your current budget by over two times (but something for the future perhaps). I've got a Logitech G27 arriving tomorrow, so will be saying goodbye to the DFGT. Something tells me I won't miss it :D

DFGT would be a good buy if you could pick one up cheap from ebay. i seen them advertised for as little as 45 quid brand new before Gran Turismo 5 was released. The wheel was designed for Gran Turismo so when that game came out the demand and prices of it shot up.

I Started outwith a Driving Force Pro,(a great starter wheel BUT are starting to become old), then DFGT(bought for £75 new and sold for £95 due to GT5 making the prices go silly) , current wheel is a G27.(luv it , even with £199 price tag)

My mate started out by getting a Logitech Formula Force GP for about a tenner on flea bay, and that then gave him the sim bug so he then moved up in the world to a Fanatec 911 wheel.

Driving Force Pro or a Driving force GT are your best bets though you'd be looking for a second hand bargain with that budget.

I have a logitech formula force wheel im selling for that but a) i cant sell on this forum b) its hardly worth the shipping costs for me (item is new box opened to check contents)

But this wheel is prob your only choice at that price. (not mine but that make)
