Wonder if anybody can suggest a next step.
My pc spent three weeks unplugged at my mother in law's house while my wife and I were between houses.
When we were finally able to move in I excitedly plugged up the comp for a gaming fix. Unfortunately I got nothing on screen. The power light on the mobo is on, the fans spn and the drives spool up. No POST beeps.
Connected into TV with a different lead. Tried an old gpu. Still the same.
Took it into work...bench built from ground up with different psu, RAM, gpu. Still no output so RMAed back to supplier who announced it fine. They re-flashed the BIOS, etc
They sent it back but to my old address, so the courier returned it to the supplier. Who sent it out again after i pointed out i had asked for it to go back to my work adress. So they sent it back...to my old address again...
Eventually i got it back and frankly without a lot of hope, rebuilt my machine. This time a mate had lent me a spare processor. Tried with that...still the same as when i first started his sorry tale.
Next I will try a full strip and bench build again but can anybody make any other suggestions?
