pc stops at verifying dmi pool data ?

I have a gigabyte s series GA-73PVM-S2H motherboard and a quad core intel chip.
The pc boots and stops at the point where it says verifying dmi pool data.
Any ideas how to fix, it simply hangs here and wont go further.

Been working on two computers with this setup today - one worked fine, the other threw this error.

In my particular case it isn't hard drive, settings or RAM and I think its down to a duff board. I'll know more on Monday.

OP, have you tried clearing CMOS?

Thanks for the link, clearing cmos and then selecting data too sata fixed the problem and the pc is flying.
