My PC all of a sudden wouldn't boot up at all, flashing up a blue screen then asking me to do a startup repair.
After removing and putting back all my hardware, setting it back to optimised defaults in the BIOS, nothing was working.
Then I just changed the hard drive setting from IDE to AHCI, and suddenly it boots up seemingly fine..
I've got both an SSD and a HDD set up, with Windows on the SSD and everything else on the HDD.
Any reason for this? Is it fine in AHCI mode?
