PC Surround sound with Samsung LE32R41B?

PC Speakers to TV

As far as I know you can't directly connect PC speakers to an LCD or any TV for that matter (Happy to be corrected though)

This is basically my setup:

Samsung LE26R41BD
Creative Gigaworks S750 7.1 surround sound speakers.
Philips progressive scan dvd player

In order to use the PC speakers I had to buy the Creative Decoder DDTS-100. I connected the PC, Speakers, TV and DVD player to the decoder to achieve surround sound from all my sources.

This was the ideal solution for me but I am not sure whether your Logitech speakers would be compatible with the DDTS-100 Decoder.

Thanks for the reply.

I was just thinking maybe i could put them in the PC Audio in? Or may get an RCA Cable plug them into Audio Out and plug the other end into my RCA Adapter, anyone know if this would work? If not ill have to invest in one of them Decoders!

Thanks
Jamie

lol! Ive just bought a LCD TV and an xbox 360 so im skint! Plus why should i if i already have the stuff needed ;)

If i was to get the Decoder what cable would i use to connect the xbox 360 and LCD TV to it? Im using Component to connect the 360 currently.

Not too sure as I haven't got an Xbox 360 so I am not sure what connections it has. To connect the TV to the decoder you would use an RCA audio cable, audio out from TV to the corresponding audio in of the decoder.

Does the Xbox 360 have optical audio connections because if it does I presume you could connect an optical audio cable between the Xbox and decoder.

As I say i'm not even sure your speakers will be compatible with the decoder so don't be rushing out to buy one just yet. A bit more investigation will be required with this one.
