Pc switching itself off then straight back on

Just trying to see if there's anything I've missed diagnosing the following fault with my PC.

Specs
I7 7700k @ 5ghz
Asus ROG 270e motherboard
1080ti 2050/6000
32gb 3600mhz, dark pro
Seasonic focus platinum 850w

Fault is it is randomly switching itself off then immediately switching back on.

Only seems to do it when I'm playing Witcher 3, I've run various other programs including benchmarks, stress tests etc with no problems.
Looking at the event log it shows an error ID of 41 which states the obvious.

Things Ive tried so far
Removed overclocks
Reseated all components & cables
Tried various memory configurations
Run memory test
Checked PSU cables
Checked power switch, swapped over to reset button to check.

Temps are good, PC is watercooled.
CPU is running 55c, GPU 45c

I've ordered a new PSU to test but just wondering if theres anything else to check whilst waiting for PSU to arrive?

Yes I do have icue running for my keyboard.

Try underclocking the GPUs core and memory clock to see if that makes a difference.

Will try that tonight.

Well I've uninstalled iCue and i will update 2moro if iam still experiencing reboots or not

You may be onto something with the Icue software.

Just been reading a few other forums where people are having the same issue after a firmware or software update.
I'll try it out tonight, & see what happens.

Well I have been playing rocket league since my last post and havent randomly rebooted once so far, before hand it would have done this within a anywhere from a few seconds in the game to a few minutes in, I will keep an eye on it though if it is down to iCue software it may only be affecting ASUS motherboards as I believe corsair recently updated iCue so you can control aura sync via iCue.

so clearing iCue definately helped but still experienced a couple of reboots did a quick google search for more info on error 41 kernel power another resolve could be to run cmd and then a few lines of command like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSn0HpaLfZ4 this found a error and resolved that error but I'm gonna hold back on saying this has fixed it for now.

Are you running your 1080ti on two separate cables, or are you daisy chaining with one cable?

Also try turning off MCE (multi core enhancement) in the bios.

What's the exact model of your PSU by the way? I seem to remember reading about certain Seasonic units triggering protections and forcing shutdowns under certain conditions due to being overly sensitive.

Separate cables for the GPU, PSU is the one below

Thought I'd cracked it earlier, had a 2 hour session on Witcher 3 with no issues, then it shut down & re-booted.

Edit
Tried turning off MCE, still the same unfortunately.
Switched itself off after a couple of mins this time.

Replacement PSU arrives today (albeit another Seasonic), so will try that, although I don't think it's the problem.

ASUS Anti-Surge protection?

Read a lot on google about this mobo feature giving a lot of false readings.

Could be a combination of this and the PSU.

I did have this problem with a s/h Seasonic X850 PSU and they suggested to turn off the Hybrid mode. This did seem to work but i did not feel confident with it so replaced it with a new PSU.

Not one I've heard of, I'll try it tonight.
Replacement PSU is here as well, so that will be next on the list.

Came across it when i googled the problem you are having. It is worth a shot, however not sure if it is safe long term if it is not just a false reading.

Just googled it myself, & it seems to be a long standing issue with Asus motherboards. Just got to find it in the bios now!
I'll give it a go before I swap the PSU tonight, I'm also going to swap my surge protector strip for a new one. Unlikely it's got a fault, but for elimination purposes.....

Update

Swapped PSU out tonight & also installed a new 4 way surge protector.
Just had a 4 hour session on Witcher 3 with no problems whatsoever. So hopefully it's sorted the problem.

Thanks to everyone who helped out with ideas & suggestions. :D
