I have an upcoming pc tower only build to make for a friend in about 3 months and I want to try and get a good idea of what parts might work best, This build is only for a music studio desktop so it will run draw like cubbase Ableton live - and recording , I do have a few issues with the build as they did say they really want thunderbolt 3 on the motherboard or install via card if possible , they have a Universal audio apollp twin mkll duo and I think this is thunderbolt 2 , I Don't have a problem with the thunderbolt but I have heard it can be sometimes hard getting is working , so I really want something that is proven to work with there thunderbolt 2 audio interfaces or I would have to ask them if they would change to usb interface as a last resort . Also no PLX chip .
