pc to lcd

hey guys. just orerdered a toshiba 32 inch lcd, my first lcd. going to be using a lot as a monitor. after the best quality connection. not sure which cable to go for. only have a dvi and vga on back of gc. whch is best and which if any brands do you recommend.

i have to buy a new lead no matter what as have an old crt and the cable cant be disconnected at the back. the lcd has a pc input, its a vga input i think, also has hdmi. never thought of getting one of those cables though.any idea what kind of resolutions ill be able to achieve with this cable. native res of lcd is 1366x768

why is a vga the best to use.wouldnt a hdmi give a better picture or greater resolution options

guys, i really need an answer if anyone knows. would i be better off getting dvi to hdmi or dvi to vga to connect to my lcd and why

ive heard that there are some problems with my lcd at 1366x768 anyway, dont get 1:1 pixel mapping, so i was going to have it at 1280x768 anyway. cool, tbh, if the hdmi cable is going to offer a slighlt better pic, i might stick with that, not too much. **** be able to get a decent one for 20 maybe.
