PC to TV Sound Issue

No joy im afraid. Ive quickly done a diagram of my setup. http://img467.imageshack.us/img467/9277/pctotvaw3.png
The scart lead has a switch (line in or line out). If I switch to line out I can hear the SKY on my PC. But if I switch to line in i hear nothing.
Any help would be most appreciated...!

Ive now spent TWO days on the net trying to find the solution to this! It must be do-able surely! Ive got the display from my pc to my tv, now I want the audio to go with it....thats it!!

Ive disconnected the SKY altogether now! All i have is the scart adapter going into the tv (no sky scart) and still no sound.
The SKY box does have 2 scart sockets (one for tv and one for video). Would I be able to put the scart (from the pc) into the SKY box and run it through that??!
EDIT the tv has AV 1, AV 2 and AV 25. AV25 has the clearest picture. AV2 has a rubbish reception, neither of them have sound.
The two leads (red and white) that run from the scart adapter..where should they go into the pc? I have an audigy 2 (Z something) sound card.

Nah mate, as you suggested in the very first place I had the sound going into my line in on the soundcard instead of my line out! 
All works fine now though. Im impressed how well you can reproduce your PC video and sound on a (fairly old) TV. The adapter from PC World was about 25 quid. I can now play games and stuff from the comfort of my settee! Just need a wireless controller so I dont have to have the pc in the middle of the room!
