PC to TV wirelessly

My friend wants to view his pc on his new 42 LCD TV wirelessly.
He wants to look on the net and watch the dvd's
He is thinking of buying ASUS EB1501 as his new pooter.
Can someone please explain what we need to do this please.

i used a dvi to hdmi 10 meter long cable....easy and cheap

He has the new tv mounted on the wall, all the wires are hidden but he forgot to put the hdmi cable behind the plasterboard when he did the power, tv and audio cables.
There is no play on cables so I can only presume the plasterer has dabbed over them and I cannot get anything through so I could pull another cable through either.

What TV cables are there? You could use an HDMI splitter at the other end. Otherwise there is no hope tbh. Since no matter what you do you will need power.

There is a power socket behind the TV. He had a double socket put behind there.

Or if you just want to view/listen media you could use an extender or a 360
