PC to TV

ok my dad just baught a 40" LCD HD Ready TV.

question is i know i can connect to it well at least i think i can. What would connecting my PC do to frame rates etc due to the bigger screen.

would i have to seriously pump up the power of my PSU.

ive currently got a 520W PSU cnt remember brand
and a 8800 GTS 640MB superclocked EVGA

What is the resolution of the television? Most of that size are capable of displaying 720p, which is 1280 x 720 which is not particularly large. Your GTS is more than capable, most likely.
