PC to TV

I've got my pc hooked up to my sony HD 1080 TV, but it will only show 720, is there something i need to do get it up to the full 1080?

What make /model is your tv? (PC spec in your sig)

Looking at the specs the max res of the TV is 1366 x 768.

not sure why it states that, as i can play my xbox at 1080 on it..

It even says 1080 in the corner of the screen when i go the HDMI channel on it.

usually if a tv is 1080 it will say full 1080p on it somewere....otherwise it will say hd ready if its 720p

No worries either way , was a free gift of my mum and transformers in HD still looks awesome

Could well be 1080i.
