So I got an Antec 902 for Christmas (thanks Santa) and was itching to get my PC transfered to it ASAP but first things first....

Christmas dinner + CoD:MW2 ;)

So I set it as a task for this morning... Now, the most complicated thing I've done with a PC before was change a GFX card ^^ so this was to be at the very least an "interesting" experience.

The transplant took about 2 hours... (most of which was cable management which still isn't finished >.<)

...but it's complete :) it looks 10x better than my CM 334 :)

I didn't take any pictures of the process...too busy/excited :D but here are a couple of snaps of the finished product :)

Very pleased, learned a lot and I now understand why people like modular PSU's so much!

Specs:
Antec 902
X4 B50 @ 3.6Ghz
Titan Fenrir
Gigabyte 790X
4Gb XMS2
XFX 4890 @ 915/1050
Corsair TX 650

The 902 is a very nice case...loving the temps I'm getting, will be running a few benches to see if I can push the CPU/GFX a bit higher :D

Very nice build, congratulations.

If your temps start getting on the high side when you OC you might want to think about rotating your cpu cooler round 90 degrees. I know the 902 has a top extract fan, but at the present the fenrir fan is pulling fairly hot air off the back of your GFX card and blowing it over the CPU.

I have a fenrir in my case and swapped out the PWM fan that comes with it for a scythe gentle typhoon (2000rpm model) It dropped the temps on my OC'd i7 by 5-6 degrees and is a heck of a lot quieter.

I feel your pain on the modular power supply issue. I have a cooler master haf 932 so have loads of room to stow them away yet it does look nasty :( Congrats on your first build though!

Thanks :)

Cool, I'll keep an eye on that ^^

Wow, nice! I'll have to look into that :)
