PC troubles :(

My pc randomly crashed, and now it boots to the 'windows xp' loading screen for about 1 second, then constantly reboots. I've tried swapping around the ram, and using only 1 slot etc. I've tried only one hard drive plugged in at a time and it's still not working, any ideas?

G31m mobo, e8500 core2duo, 2gb corsair 6400 ram, ati hd4870 gfx, 150gb wd raptor hdd 1, 500gb samsung hdd 2

I had the same problem with my computer but updating the Bios fixed it I have no idea if it might be the same?

ok, this is weird, i just started changing the sata port slots randomly and it booted into windows. Faulty sata port maybe?
