PC under peforming...

Last few days my pc has been 'under-performing' for eg:

in counter strike source i normaly get around 200-300fps on a 40manpub server , now i only get around 30-50fps.

i'v reset the cmos so everything is stock and it just made things 10x worse...

i ran geekbench aswell and the score i got @ stock is = 262

i ran 3dmark06 and on the first graphics test im getting around 60-67fps and i normaly get 75-80 :/

Any reason why my pc is under performing?

Don't bother just yet, have you got any unusual processes running in the task manager?

Seems fine but you should run an up to date spyware program like Ad-Aware and also a virus scan. Did you notice this slowdown after installing new hardware/software or updating any drivers?

Ah nevermind , reformated and im back to getting my 300+ fps

True, but a performance drop from 200-300fps to 30-50fps is indicative of a problem.

I meant he may as well limit his source fps.
