Hi guys, Ive had my new pc about a month now. Its all running well etc. but I feel its underperforming.

It received very low 3d mark scores, I just tried vantage but it crashed, so will try again in a minute.

With all settings on highest im getting a solid 30-32 fps with fraps on crysis.
I would have thought it would be higher considering my spec but im usure?

Also some games just dont look as good as they should do.

My spec is as follows

i7 d0 with dummy oc
evga x58
6gb ocz reaper 1500
2x 4890s

And im gaming on 1920x1200

Im thinking maybe crossfire isnt set up correctly or something?

This is my first entire build so maybe some hardware is set up wrong?

Also what should my settings in CCC be?

Having a lot of problem posts recently!!

Appreciate the help

Maybe im being over expectant then.

Actually played crysis wars online and was getting around 70 fps up and down?

It seemed like vanilla crysis was locked between 30-32 fps, even though v-sync was off? Is there some other setting that might lock the fps?

Also im running dual monitors on 2 4890s in xfire, one is a 1920x1200 monitor , the other is a hdtv at 1920x1080, but the tv looks crappy for some reason.

Should both connections be plugged into one card or what?

if it helps the tv is a 32lg5700 via vga. I tried connecting it via hdmi but it looked a LOT worse

crysis is a killer specially at big resolutions. try overcloking your cpu to 3.5 and above u will notice nice improvement. those i7 should be easily achieve 3.6 at stock volts.

ps: do you have crossfire enabled in ati catalyst options ?
