Not sure which to go for Ryzen build or intel, but hoping to keep with my windows 7 so hopefully that will still work out ok! i mostly play games and some lite video editing.

Windows 7 support has ended you can still get motherboard drivers for it but there probablly wont be anymore updates.

3600 or 5600x big diffrence in cost for 25% on average performance increase at 1080p. 3700x if you need more cores .

16gb or 32gb of ram ?

Intel release 11th gen in march that will support pcie4 mite be worth waiting.

i have 16gb ram which it thought was a ton but i still find some things very slow, so guess 32gb would be great. and i didnt know about new releases so i could wait but wont that all be more expensive then?

but im looking now for something good so i dont have to upgrade for some years :). and yeah sorry to sound out of date i just always luv windows 7 and dislike a lot of things on 10. shame they dont have a classic route which some Old OS had back in the day.

You don't list your storage, are your games on an SSD as that makes a lot of difference with load times? The 3600 is a bottleneck in some games already at 1080p and high end GPU, so it may not be as future proof as the intel 11th gen series is which is supposed to launch very end of March

please can someone give a build based on the ryzen 3600 from OCUK, but im keeping with my windows 7 as long as theres no issues or would there be less issues if i went the intel route?

Gaming and Video Editing is what i do mostly
