Hello!

Going back a few years I was playing CSS most days and attended LAN (iseries) so I needed a good PC to be able to run games at ease.

I have been playing the BF3 BETA on PS3 because my PC would probably melt if I attempted to run it on that.
I am toying with the idea of upgrading my PC or buying a new rig all together! Its not something im certain to do but I would like to know how much I would be looking at to get my PC well up to today's standards of running the latest games such as BF3.

My PC spec....
WIN 7
Core2 E6600
Nvidia 8800GT
2GB DDR2 (3200 I think)
120GB HDD

Samsung 22" monitor
Saitek 2 keyboard
Razor Deathadder Mouse
sennheiser pc350 Headset

Any advice would be great here, like I say im not certain to upgrade but I would like to know at what kind of price Im looking at when I decide I want to.....FPS games and control pads is just a sin.

Thanks

That should have no problems maxxing BF3, can drop down a bit on RAM/CPU cooling (go with something air), I really like the p8p67 pro, fantastic motherboard for it's price imo, but there is plenty of options around that pricing range

Not sure if a 570/6950 can max battlefield 3... but you may be able to save a few hundred quid there aswell

The CPU is a no brainer though, i5 2500k, only get the i7 2600k if youre gonna be using lots of rendering apps and such

And yeah, call of duty on console = lol
