Thanks

get the master board! a lot better quality- prob hands down the best z390 board

also cheaper! and includes wifi! hero wifi version is £300 and lessor VRM design

if your a ROG Die hard fan.. X570 ... July. board is 100% better then their lacking z390 designs . can grab 12 core for same price as 9900k

PSU is a beast, but no idea on RMA. not sure who the OEM is , @EsaT ? and what agreement ASUS has with RMA of the unit. Corsair and seasonic do a straight swap with new unit. corsair UK based, seasonic in EU

again, wait till 7th July if you can, and then have trigger on the button !

32GB also overkill if your just doing Gaming ???

and if the RAM is good.

For 3600MHz you should be aiming for 16-16-16-36 timings.

Good 2x16GB kits aren't abundant but you can find Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 32GB 2x16GB 3466 16-18-18-36 for just over £250. It has better latency than 3600 17-19-19-39, even though it's not top-notch either. So it's faster and £100 cheaper than the G.Skill kit you linked.

Also, wait for Ryzen 3XXX. 9900K not worth buying with the vulnerabilities and slowdowns affecting Intel hyperthreading. It'd be 9700K or 9600K for gaming.

You can also find quality 850W PSUs for £100 less, with 10 year warranty as well. Though I'm guessing you want it for the RGB.

Thanks a lot for all the replies, I am not in a hurry so I guess I will wait until July for the new board. I want the 32gb as the PC will be used for development as well.

so much asus tax.
ouch.

:D

Don't listen to them, they don't like unity and harmony, they rather see you mismatch MSI board with cooler master tower, thermaltake PSU, gigabyte card and corsair ram sticks. And in the end you will start to stuff your case full of toys.

That's surely genuine gaming hype product...
It's Seasonic Focus platform there with some customizing:

https://www.kitguru.net/components/.../seasonic-focus-plus-gold-fx-850w-psu-review/

And Focus Plus Platinum is £55 less.

Seasonic Prime has clearly different positioning of many components.
https://www.kitguru.net/components/...me-ultra-platinum-850w-power-supply-review/4/

And that Seasonic's top platform with 2 years longer warranty would be still £15 cheaper.

PC will be used for development as well.
That sounds then case for Ryzen 3900X with 12 cores/24 threads for some extra room in corners...

Ah, RMA are sent there, just if new replacements are issued from there. Think it's still Germany .

https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/posts/32499591/

To be complete:

- PSU are shipped back by our customers to our UK warehouse.
- Replacement is coming from Germany, our main RMA Center for EU.
- For the plug, as much as possible, better to keep it as only PSU specifically sold to UK will have UK plug, else only EU.

As always, for RMA or not, any question, please contact us any time and we will gladly assist you the best we can.

Thanks.

Of course it's a hype product, so are many things in life. Could've also said, that due to ASUS heatsinks it runs cooler and is less audible db wise, but nobody cares about that.

I love THOR, it brings me joy every time I look at it. While Seasonic Prime I would cover up with shroud. And how much that joy costs, 50 GBP over 10 years? I am willing to pay that price.
