Hi, welcome to the forum.

Open up the case and check what power supply it has, try and get the model name/number if you can.

Doesn't seem like there's a discrete graphics card in there (seems to be using the CPU's integrated graphics) but you can have a look at the same time.

Storage isn't listed. How many drives has it got and which (SSD or HDD).

Is your monitor 720p or 1080p resolution?

What's the preferred budget for the upgrade and what's the maximum budget?

That likely has a 250W PSU, so you're looking at the GTX 1050 Ti as the best GPU your PC can support which will cost you £150 or so. You might want to upgrade the CPU too. A second-hand i7-3770S should cost you £75 - £100. Note the S - it's the low-power version but it still has 4 cores and 8 threads.

And after this many years that PSU is propably rather worn.
They don't put any high quality PSUs to those market PCs, but cheapest acceptable and case is medieval and uses PSU as exhaust.
Also motherboard is likely such cheapo that any higher TDP CPU likey won't run well.

Good point, but it hasn't been stressed and if funds are an issue then GPU and CPU should be priorities.

Whoops! You can disregard my above CPU suggestion as I misread the OP's CPU. A 3770S will probably not work! The most powerful CPU will be the i7-2600S which has a 65W TDP, the same as the i3-2100. The price is about the same.
