I'm looking to upgrade my PC to an i5 setup, where possible without impacting on performance I would like to re-use what I can.

I'm upgrading so I can play games like SW battlefront and Fallout4.

Below is my current setup:

Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card **BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL DEAL** £149.99
Intel Core i3-2120 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail £99.95
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM (GFC-02050) £79.99
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM (ST500DM002) £69.98
MSI H67MA-E35 Intel H67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro-ATX Motherboard - (Sandybridge) **B3 REVISION** £61.99
Antec High Current Gamer 520W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £56.99
BitFenix Shinobi Gaming Case - Black £39.98
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX) **BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL DEAL** £34.99
OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £17.99

As you can see I took advantage of some excellent Black Friday deals a couple of years ago and the bundle was put together with the help of fellow forum users.

so in essence is there anything I can do to take advantage of this years deal - I was thinking perhaps looking either a MB/CPU/Memory bundle and an upgraded Graphics card or perhaps just keep the current MB and get a new CPU and Graphic Card, you will see I have a 520W power unit so I guess depending of what cards are out there this might need increasing to - I would like to be able to just plug my hard-drive in and just boot up with minimal configuration.

Your help as always is greatly appreciated.

In terms of cost I would like to keep the price down as low as possible

Thanks

I've got HDMI connections with my monitor

Had to check the manufactures website for the power leads

POWER SUPPLY CONNECTORS ASSORTMENT:
- 1 x 24(20+4)-pin
- 1 x 8(4+4)-pin ATX12V/EPS12V
- 2 x 8(6+2)-pin PCI-E
- 5 x SATA
- 4 x Molex
- 1 x Floppy

What is your budget?

a new board + cpu +ram, and a new gpu.

Are you wanting to game at the best possible settings or just so it looks nice and plays good.

Do you plan any other future upgrades like a new monitor 4k gaming?

Do you do video editing?

Not looking at top end gaming, just so the game plays without any issues really (wish I had more time for serious gaming but 2 kids = no time lol)

No future upgrades planned around 4k or any type of video editing - just a basic rig to dive into modern games and have a play around in :)

Would like to keep the cost down where possible without impacting gameplay performance - around £300-£400 would be perfect hence the need where possible to re-use kit
