PC Upgrade

Hello all,

I'll be going on holiday in a few days time but when I get back I hope to upgrade my computer.

Current Spec

AMD 64bit 3700
(1 x 2GB) + (2 x 512MB) DDR RAM
Gigabyte K8NE Motherboard
ATI X1800XT 256MB (Requires a PCI-E slot)
Hiper 580W Modular PSU
NZXT Case

I hope to upgrade...

Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
RAM - 2 x 1GB Your Choice
Motherboard - Your Choice
PSU (ONLY IF REQUIRED) - Your Choice

why upgrade now?

wait for the new nvidia cards in a couple of months unless you cant wait, then go for the gigabyte DS3P motherboard.

Corsair 520/620w psu.

Do you have any links on the new cards? I wouldn't mind a read before I go to bed.

BTW I may do some slight overclocking - in case that affects the motherboard choice. Nothing major though, just up a bit
