PC Upgrade

Hi guys, i would like to upgrade my pc yet again, here are the spec of my pc atm,

Antic gaming case
Abit IP35 Pro
Intel core 2 Due E6850 3.00ghz
4Gb 8500 rams
BFG 8800GTX Ultra (RMA atm)
Raptor 150gb drive
Blue Ray Dvd rom
850w PSU
X-Fi Sound Card
Note: my pc is not OCed

now i was thinking of upgrade it to a Quad (Intel core 2 Due Quad Q9450 or Q9550 yorkfield, or E8500 Wolfdale Core 2 Duo), but how good are those Yorkfields compare to the Wolfdale or even my E6850? and what type of MB do i need to run Wolfdale or YorkField? what the different between P35, X38 or X48? also should i go for DDR2 or DDR3? sorry for so many questions, hope some of you will able to help me out, so confusing nowaday cos so many choices with Cpu, Mb and Rams...

yeh i agree with above, its a sweet system as it is. Maybe you could overclock the cpu if you really need more performance, but at the moment there is very little on the market that will make that rig look bad. So just be wait for something spectacular to come out.
