PC Upgrade

Having just sold my CPU and GPU I am looking for an upgrade. I will probably have around £500-1000 to spend (but being a student, lower= better). I already have a case,2tb HDD, PSU (1200w) and stacks of RAM (mainly DDR3). I was thinking about getting a fury (due to the recent offer), but are unsure about the other parts. I equally have high-end AMD board if I was to go down the AMD CPU route (Potential bottleneck).

The main uses will be gaming and work, the resolution will be 1080p (Although Ultrawide 2556 x 1080 is on its way though (freesync +75hz)).Temps are not a problem as I plan on using a large closed loop water cooling setup (I don't one one yet). Any suggestions?

What case do you have?
I assume you can get windows for cheap as a student also.

Do you want to include water cooling into your current budget of £500/1000 as it will cost around £400/500 itself.

Sorry by closed loop, I meant AIO (which I don't suppose would be over £150 with fan changes). And I have a random arianet branded case from a couple of years back (it has the room for two radiators) or a z11 . And yes, I think I have an unused windows key somewhere in my house.
