pc upgrade

Hi all im currently running :
i54690k @4.4ghz
msi z97 gaming 5 mobo
16gb g skill ripjaws 1600mhz
h100i cpu cooler
msi 1070 gc
samsung 850 evo
corsair 750w builders psu
white nzxt s340 case

is there anything i can upgrade on this pc other than the gc for better performance or would i be better off starting a new build ,currently play at 1080p but are looking into going to at least 1440p

What refresh rate do you play at?

now im at 60hz

If you go to 1440p, the CPU will be even less of a bottleneck. So I'd just get the 1440p monitor, then see how the GTX 1070 performs in the games you play/graphics settings you like.

I'd say a high refresh rate 1080p monitor would be a much better upgrade than a 1440p 60hz monitor.

I play RTS and happy with 1440p 60hz , but overclock the screen if I can

If I was FPS... 1080p 144hz
