Can anyone help I am building a system slowly I have a full size Corsair case Corsair ax 1200i power supply 4 tb wester digital hard drive 1 tb WD blue solid state drive 128 GB solid state drive I want a motherboard that has graphics onboard but when I get more money get a better graphics card I want to play combat flight SIM in vr mode

Which combat flight sim(s) please? Which VR headset will you be using please?

At this budget it feels like a misstep to buy the CPU now with a GPU later on.

I'd wait until you have your full budget and buy everything together, as there is a general expectation that within the next 12 months hardware will get both faster and cheaper. This is due to oversupply from projections made during the latest crypto boom (we're in a bust right now) and due to fierce competition between Intel and AMD/TSMC.

Things could always change, goodness knows we've seen enough black swan events in the last 2 decades to fill a centuary or two, but I would wait until you're ready to buy everything together.
