Hi guys i need a bit of help again :P

My friend is looking to upgrade his pc to be able to play modern games. The big problem is the amount of money that he is willing to spend cause he is a tight get lol

I was thinking of upgrading his current system by ripping out the old mobo, cpu, gfx and ram. These are all the parts im looking to replace.

This is what i was thinking of going for:

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6790
AMD Bulldozer FX-4 Quad Core 4100 Black Edition 3.60Ghz
Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 AMD 760G (Socket AM3+)
Corsair Vengeance Blue 4GB

Exc delivery its around £270

If you have any advice please give!
Also im pretty sure this upgrade would be able to handle most games out there but i always like a second opinion! :D

YOUR BASKET
1 x EVGA GeForce GTX 550Ti 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £143.99
1 x Intel Core i3-2100 3.10GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail £95.99
1 x Gigabyte H61M-S2 Intel H61 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £49.99
2 x Corsair Value 2GB (1x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Low-Voltage Single Channel Module (VS2GB1333D3) £9.95 (£19.90)
Total : £321.26 (includes shipping : £9.50).

The FX-4 will be a little bit worse than the I3 and costs about the same.

You are not left with any real upgrade options but for the 8 core which is about the same speed as the I5 2500k and is a bit more money.

On the sandy bridge platform you can go all the way up to a i7 2700k.

Thanks for the fast reply and i think im going to order this system you linked. Do you think his stock PSU will be okay to run this system? its only a 350watt random PSU lol
