Hey guys, I started a thread before about this and got no response. I have now narrowed the problem down lol.

I have been overclocking and have come to the conclusion that when I set my ocz RAM to the recommended 2.1 volts the pc will not power down. The hard drives shut down as normal but the fans still stay on. Is this my motherboard saying that it can't handle it? I have a asus p5ql pro board and ocz pc8500 RAM.

I have tried running a different hard drive with different OS installed and tried Linux live cd and both dont power down when I hit shut down:(:(

Any suggestions please??

Thanks
