Hi,
I have the below mentioned AMP that's connected to my HTPC via HDMI that carries both the video and sound to my amp directly.
http://www.uk.onkyo.com/en/products/tx-sr605-34785.html?tab=Details
I've always found the sound can be somewhat tinny possibly due to the MP3 format of my music?
I can see that the amp has an integrated DAC, however would I benefit from an USB DAC from my PC to the Amp for playing music?
I have toyed with DFX audio software that improves the quality no end, albeit only 'Software'.
Would an external DAC bring out the sound in the same quality?
