PC woes

Hi there,

Friend of my is having problem with his PC. He was getting artifacting so I suggested his graphics card was most likely done.

He bought an Asus AMD Radeon HD 6670 and installed it. Everything works fine for 10 minutes then when he is playing WOW his pc slows right down and becomes really laggy.

Even after he comes out of WOW to go on internet explorer everything is really slow and a restart is required to get things moving again.

He has since formatted his C drive but the problem is still the same.

I'm unsure what to suggest next, maybe he has a faulty graphics card?

1 DVD drive
Windows 7

Tried doing a driver sweep and then updating to the latest drivers? Might be an old one hanging around corrupting things.

We need more precise specs in all honesty, including the brand make of the power supply.
