Got no signal on monitor when it is connected - computer switches on and fans are spinning etc but nothing on screen.
Removed the hard drive to see if it was that as I hear a ticking noise and a sort of speeding up and slowing down of the fans.
Could that be the CPU or more likely the PSU? Its a 12 year old PC by the way - just trying to get it working for an old friend.
