Hi,

Today I received my new fans for antec 1200.

I opened my case and pluged fan to molex/3pin while pc was working (did it before) and everytjhing was fine, after 10mins screen froze and I restarted, nothing happened.

No boot, not even to bios, so basicaly blank creen and monitor says no DVI signal.

Than I started to remove all components: Ram/Gpu/all other cables, restarted in 5min, nothing again. Tried different slots for ram, played with cables around, still nothing.

Reset CMOS too,

Any advices?

Thanks

^^ I didn't even istall fans, I only checked one fan: pluged, checked manual speed adjustment and that's it. after got problem removed it.tnx

Don't listen to him he's ginger! J/K

Go through the standard checks man. Check the fuse in the plug or try a known good test cable from another device, then check connection on board (MAKE SURE YOU ARE GROUNDED! Don't ant a static charge causing problems!) Check all connections and if all else fails see if there is a Bios reset on board, if so go for it.

Somehow PC booted once, I reset Bios and went to system, than shut down PC, pluged all components back which didn't plug back again, and no post again AND new ENERMAX FAN (now while PC was turned off) and no boot again, can it really be FAN than?:confused::confused::confused:

yea one fan shouldnt make any difference i suppose.

did you do anything silly like force the molex in the wrong way round? was reading another post about it
