So I built this system about a year ago aug 2015

i7 5820k and MSI X99A SLI Krait Edition Intel X99
16gb ram
corsair 760i PSU etc

It will turn on but won't boot into BIOS.

Steps I've done so far. Swapped GPU to check if GPU was faulty, swapping rams around to see if there is any defective ram and finally tried a PSU from a different system. All did not boot into BIOS or windows.

Currently I thin it's the motherboard or CPU I highly doubt the CPU.
A few weeks back I could not use my 1 year long Overclock profile so had to step it down to 4ghz as I don't have anytime anymore to benchmark the 4.4ghz I had before.

Any help????

Bought motherboard from OCUK but its over a year now best way to go through MSI warranty website?

OCuk only do 1 year warranty isnt it?

Yeah no go with the cmos tried flicking a few switches on mobo too see any of it posts. One did make the PC keep rebooting constantly.

Yeah I'll try that furiously hitting del thing later. Thanks! Anyone with msi morherboard and the error code led display on motherboard showing up,?

Wow I'm stumped... got a new chip from intel and it's doing the same thing is it the ram? But all 4? What's going on!!?!?!? Tried all 4 on 1 slot....

Yeah all seated properly. Gonna leave it for tomorrow. Try swap back to old mobo and see. Then see how to update bios.

Psu working as it was pulled from a working used machine.

Yeah, I can't rule out ram yet as above poster mentioned updating bios. Gonna do a quick swap before bed. Thanks for the tips!

Cba.... did not work either with old motherboard. Seems like the only culprit left is the ram. Ordered some corsair sticks ffs.

I suspect the mobo is causing all of these issues I would get a new mobo and try the rams again. I've emailed MSI about RMA they are not very helpful and said send it to us using your own delivery and cost and we will send you a refurbished one. I could have done that but I suspect a long turn around so left it and bought a gigabyte board in the end. I reckon the motherboard killed my ram, all of them.....

Go for the later(or last) revisions of gigabyte or Asus, not gonna bother trying anything else in the future after the msi fiasco.

If you got a mate with same platform go try the ram as I the mobo could possibly have killed the ram like mine did.
