Hello,
Every few months I will wake up to a BSOD.
My computer will then continue to BSOD on start up.
Removing all sticks of RAM (2 x 4gb) booting then restarted and then just putting one stick of RAM in fixes it.
As soon as I put the other RAM stick in my computer will just not boot, it comes on for 3 seconds and then reboots.
It doesn't matter what slots they are in or if I swap the RAM around it just happens when I have more than 4GB RAM in.
Here are some specs.
Intel Core i5 2500
Gigabyte PA65-UD3-B3
Kingston HyperX http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-094-KS&tool=3
Maybe the settings in the bios are wrong, but unfortunatly I don't know what they should be set at. I've tried a few different configurations but it still wont work.
Also, I was wondering if anyone knows if that motherboard can use 4 x 4GB (16GB) of Kingston Hyperx sticks.
