pc wont boot

Just put together my new build

Maximus vii formula
4790k
16gb avexir core
windows 7

It gets to the loading windows screen. The window logo starts to appear, then it resets.

Just try a fresh install

Any ideas

Thanks for the quick reply. Its 4x4gb. If the fresh install fails ill try taking 2 sticks out. And go from there

Would not uninstalling previous mb drivers cause an issue?

Thanks ill give it a try. I was using my old install.

Although just finished the new insall on a different hdd and it looks to be working

Yep looks like you were right set to ide booted straight up

Yep boots fine with 16gb set to 2666mhz

I need to sort the drivers out. But also need to continue with the leak test. Only stopped to put my mind at ease with installing the cpu
