PC won't boot.

Hi

When I turn my computer on using the power button, all I get is a black screen and thats it, no BIOS, nothing.

However if I disconnect all the front panel connectors and turn it on by shorting the 2 power pins, it boots up just fine?

Any ideas what would be causing this?

You've found the issue by the sounds of it - the issue exists between power button and motherboard. Buy a new case or get a replacement power button switch for a few quid
